Professor Antoni Tajduś is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at TAURON Polska Energia S.A. He was appointed to the Supervisory Board on 31 January 2008.
Professor Antoni Tajduś has been employed with the Stanisław Staszic AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków since 1973, holding the positions of junior lecturer, lecturer, assistant professor, and full professor. During his employment with the Stanisław Staszic AGH University of Science and Technology, Professor Antoni Tajduś earned the following academic degrees: Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Science and Professor of Technical Science. From 2005 he has been the rector of the Stanisław Staszic AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków.
Antoni Tajduś declared that in reference to the requirements defined in §23 section 3 of the Articles of Association of TAURON Polska Energia S.A., he meets the independence criteria for supervisory board members under Commission Recommendation of 15 February 2005 on the role of non-executive or supervisory directors of listed companies and on the committees of the (supervisory) board (2005/162/WE), including Best Practices for WSE Listed Companies.
