Jacek Kuciński
Member of the Supervisory Board
Jacek Kuciński is a member of the Supervisory Board at TAURON Polska Energia S.A. He was appointed to the Supervisory Board on 14 September 2010.
Jacek Kuciński graduated from the Faculty of Physics of the Jagiellonian University. He has also earned a PhD from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology.
Jacek Kuciński has completed numerous courses and trainings in Poland and abroad. He is a member of ETEPS European Technical-Economic Policy Support international network, member of Steering Committees in several international research programs, author and co-author of numerous international research and scientific-technical programs. Jacek Kuciński is a precursor of foresight programs in Poland. Also, he is the founder of POLMA Polish Association of European Project Managers and Administrators.
At present, Jacek Kuciński is the head of Strategy and technology Transfer Department at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research at the Polish Academy of Sciences. He is also employed as a lecturer at Collegium Civitas and is the Director of Advanced Technology Foresight Department. Earlier, he was employed, among others, at International Nuclear Agency in Vienna and Foundation for Polish Science.
Jacek Kuciński declared that in reference to the requirements defined in §23 section 3 of the Articles of Association of TAURON Polska Energia S.A., he does not meet the independence criteria for supervisory board members under Commission Recommendation of 15 February 2005 on the role of non-executive or supervisory directors of listed companies and on the committees of the (supervisory) board (2005/162/WE), including Best Practices for WSE Listed Companies.
